Not Yet Ventures exists for serious early builders the world has not given a fair chance yet. We give first. We decide with conviction. When the answer is Not Yet, we stay in the relationship and leave you better than we found you. We refuse empty help and endless maybe.
Talent is equally distributed. Opportunity is not. We love meeting founders from places where entrepreneurship is already the air people breathe. What really excites us is finding serious builders at places like University of Virginia, Ohio State, University of Florida, and peers, where building is not the default path and a first believer still changes everything.
We give first: introductions, hard feedback, help on the problem in front of you, before we ask for anything back. A decision maker reads your email and owns the relationship. You drive. We are here to multiply you when you pull. We will not push, babysit, or manage you for show.
When you want capital from us in a given week, you get a real decision: yes, no, or Not Yet with a clear path. How the weekly batch and the longer relationship work together lives on our home page and on Pitch Us.
Being a founder is a behavior, not a status symbol. Traction and dollars raised matter, and they are partly luck. At the earliest stage we also watch what you do in your control: try X expecting Y, see Z, change to A expecting B. We partner based on the work and the honesty of that loop, not on polish or pedigree alone.
Too many people promise to help and do not. Too many investors take the meeting and never decide. They lack conviction. We will not be another layer of process that burns your time without a check, a door, or a clear answer.
This is the standard we hold ourselves to, not a claim that we clear it every day. We miss. When we do, we own it and get back to the work. Write it down so you can hold us to it.
Building something? Pitch Us for this week's funding cycle, or stay on our radar through the same door. Mentors, angels, LPs, and people who refer founders: Get involved.
